Abstract X45 Acrylic Painting

Product description

Abstract X45 Acrylic Painting is a 12 x 12 x 1 inches painting on stretched canvas with wrapped and painted edges. No frame is necessary. I used a technique that I am fond of in painting this. I used small amounts of paint with as little water as possible. Instead of brushing the paint on top of the canvas, I use circular motions to more or less grind it into the canvas, using a circular motion and very little water and paint. The result is a more of a transparent color.  It is a lot to fun and a surprise to see the result which not always can be predicted. Usually I use only the primary colors, red, blue and yellow. The other colors are created by over lapping the primary colors on top of each other in very thin layers.

By using a gallery wrapped canvas, a modern look is provided for this painting.  It saves the expense and bother of paying to get the piece framed.  It comes ready to hang and no frame is needed.

A COA, certificate of authority is provided for you which guarantees it authenticity and is signed and dated by me. This painting  was painted by me in May of 2016 as an ongoing interest I have in abstract expressionism.

This painting is one of many that I offer in this 12 x 12 inch size.  You can mix and match them together using several and hang them in different positions together to get your desired effect.
