June went by very quickly and especially with my #JCW June 12 x 12 Abstract Painting Project Week 4. Of course, like with anything, life has its twists and turns and I had some planned trips out of town this month, a week of Vacation Bible School and some unexpected household emergencies which took a toll on my time to paint. Some days I painted two paintings in a day to try to catch up. I have learned a lot and experienced various emotions from elation and being thrilled with my paintings to not liking my daily work at all. I have done some illustrations every day for a moth but with painting or illustration, it is a commitment that is sometimes hard to keep up with but well worth it in the end.
The challenge of creating daily works takes more determination with a planned series of drawings and paintings in one particular category than just daily casual time creating does. The concentration of pushing yourself to create in one specific area is both fullfiling and frustrating, but if you stick with it and push through the frustration that is when the rewards will appear. There is the sense of accomplishment I feel when I look back at these 30 abstract paintings. There are also 30 new paintings to add to my website and gallery. The realization of creative growth might not set in immediately but now after a month afterwards I know that I learned a lot from this process and challenge. I feel a huge sense of accomplishment with #JCW June 12 x 12 Abstract Painting Project. These paintings are for sale and I am in the process of listing all of them on this website. If you see one you would like to purchase please leave a comment on the form below and contact me by email. All of the paintings in this series are $100.00 each.
